Famous Camps
There were camps located all over the West Coast of the United States. The main reason was that there were many Japanese Americans populated the area.
After being taken from their families, the Japanese Americans were put in one of the many internment camps that were located across the country which could have been in a location with dangerous weather conditions. "These people were forced to abandon their businesses, their homes and, in many cases, their families as some individuals were taken elsewhere and held, again without trial, for years. This shows how there were camps built around the country which meant that a lot of Japanese Americans were taken to the camp in their home state.

Manzanar
This camp was one of the first camps to open during WWII and over 110,000 Japanese Americans were interned there. This is one of the many camps where hundreds of people were stuck in and they had to suffer. Even though this camps is now a memorial, its dark and terrible history remains. This was the home of the horrible and terrible events that was in the lives of many who had to suffer through this time.
The above picture shows how the barracks were placed during the time of the internment. There were many camps that were used to hold many people and part of them was children who had to suffer in those camps.
